RGAA is a group of volunteer art enthusiasts working to keep art alive in the Fremont County community. With this and other initiatives, RGAA is not just supporting the arts—it’s shaping a future where creativity thrives, and every voice has a canvas.
We serve all areas of Fremont County including Cañon City, Coal Creek, Coaldale, Cotopaxi, Florence, Hillside, Howard, Penrose, Rockvale, Texas Creek, Wellsville, and Williamsburg.

Our Mission
Royal Gorge Art Alliance is a premier art nonprofit organization in Fremont County, Colorado for the enrichment and betterment of our community through cultural and economic development.
Our Vision
The principle purpose of Royal Gorge Art Alliance, henceforth referred to as RGAA, is to promote, enhance, support, and create artistic opportunities in the greater Fremont County region through partnerships, events, and preservation of the Arts for present and future generations.

Kevin Cundiff
Chair
Kevin Cundiff loves the arts and believes they are the cornerstone of society. Born and raised in California, he has worked in finance and office management throughout his career. Kevin moved to Cañon City and served as the Executive Director of the Fremont Center for the Arts.

Linda Carlson
Vice-Chair
Linda Carlson was born in Wales, United Kingdom and pursued an academic career in science, specifically, molecular genetics research related to diabetes. She served as a faculty member at Columbia University in New York. Linda sits on many local Boards and supports local non-profit organizations through her grant writing expertise. She was a founder of Mountain View Core Knowledge and Garden Park High School. Linda and her family came to Cañon City in 1990. She is an accomplished artist and musician.

Kathleen Kennedy
Secretary & Treasurer
Kathleen Kennedy has worked in early education, non-profit, and the private sectors. As an author, thespian, musician, and award-winning photographer she brings her passion for many art forms to the community at large. Kathleen moved to Fremont County in 1986 and serves on numerous local nonprofit boards.

Kelly Branyik
Alliance Member
Kelly Branyik, owner of Little Wave Media, is a creative marketing professional and lifelong artist with over a decade of experience in content creation, branding, and design. A Florence native, Kelly’s artistic journey includes passionate writing, playing instruments, dancing, singing, and performing in local theater productions such as Mary Poppins, The Music Man, and King Artie and the Knights of the Rad Table. She is also the author of It Depends: A Guide to Peace Corps and is actively pitching a series of novels to agents.
Today, Kelly combines her artistic expertise and marketing skills to support the Royal Gorge Art Alliance by crafting innovative strategies that elevate its mission to celebrate and inspire the arts in Fremont County.

Brendan Pardue
Alliance Member
Brendan Pardue, a Fremont County native, is a Holy Cross Abbey graduate who later earned degrees from Regis College and the University of Northern Colorado. With a 25-year career at the Colorado Department of Corrections, he also taught psychology, history, and philosophy at Pueblo Community College.
A passionate community supporter, Brendan is involved with numerous organizations, including the Royal Gorge Chamber Alliance and Fremont Civic Theatre, where he has performed in over 30 productions.
He has restored 12 historic properties, most notably the 1898 Gibson Mansion, a venue for nonprofit events and fundraisers. Brendan remains dedicated to preserving history and enriching his community.

Janet Bergin
Alliance Member
Janet Bergin is a designer and color coach who empowers women to be confident and impactful through color, styling, and branding. She is a member of ZONTA and assisted in the annual hosting of the Artful Women’s Show for many years. Janet moved to Cañon City in 2000 and has been a lifelong supporter of the arts.

Kay Hunsaker
Alliance Member
Kay Hunsaker is an avid supporter of the arts which she sees as a flourishing abundant aspect of our community’s creativity. She has participated in volunteer efforts and local art classes as a way to network with artists and artisans. Kay’s vision for promotion and experience with the arts in Fremont County has led her to serve on boards. Kay and her husband moved to Cañon City in 2019.

Sammy Burman
Alliance Member
Sammy Burman is a long-time Cañon City resident. She owns the Artist’s Gallery and is a steadfast supporter of the arts in Fremont County.
