Entry Guidelines
- There is no fee to enter the show (yay!) and artists must complete the application to display art.
- Display a maximum of 5 pieces of art.
- Please choose your art with a varied audience in mind.
- Artwork must follow the designated monthly theme. Any art that doesn’t follow the monthly theme will not be eligible for awards.
- Each contributing artist is responsible for displaying/installing artwork (including show tags), managing sales, and attending the First Friday events.
- We encourage you to post your artist bio, bring business cards, and be available to chat with folks about your art!
How to Install Your Art
HOW TO INSTALL YOUR ART:
- Pro Panels and wall space are available free of charge.
- Hanging materials are also provided and must be returned after the show.
- While we provide hooks and pins for the Pro Panels, artists are responsible for ensuring their own artwork has the proper mounting hardware—such as D-rings, wire hangers, or sawtooth hangers—to hang securely. For sculpture or any work displayed on pedestals, artists must use museum putty (mounting putty) to keep pieces firmly in place and prevent tipping, falling, or damage.
Set Up Time
- Artists can hang artwork Thursday and Friday prior to show judging.
- You will have reasonable access to The Hive before the show from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday and 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday.
Artists MUST hang before Friday at 2:00 p.m.
**JUDGING BEGINS AT 2:00 PM ON FIRST FRIDAY.

All Royal Gorge Art Alliance members are eligible for judging, with the exception of Executive members, who are welcome to display their art but are not eligible for awards.

- 2nd Place ($175)
- 3rd Place ($125)
